Daniel Kazungu Wanje

ASSETS Conservation Assistant.
Daniel works in Mida-Creek, running and maintaining the Mida Board Walk. He joined A Rocha Kenya in 2012, mostly working as a volunteer. He was however given a position to work, as the Conservation Assistant for the ASSET program in Mida in 2021. Daniel was born and raised in Mida. He has enjoyed working and being part of A Rocha because of it being a Christian organization focused on taking care of the environment. His love for nature attracted him to activities like bird counting and bird ringing that are so rich in A Rocha Kenya. This placed a desire in his heart to learn more, no wonder he chose to stick around. Dan loves bird watching, reading story books and swimming.
