The word vacation comes with a lot of different feelings and expectations to all of us. To some, a good vacation simply means tranquil environment for proper rest and quality time off. To others vacation takes a shape of a lot of fun and entertainment. And still to some it may just be a nice setting with a beautiful view. But to most of us it is all the above combined and to all of us good food makes a good vacation. Here at Mwamba, we recognise that and we have just what you need. A sufficient touch of everything, especially for those who love nature.

Mwamba is located in a serene environment for your relaxation and rest. But it is also super alive for your fun and entertainment. The nice ocean view from the comfort of your chair, the cool and refreshing breeze from the ocean, the close proximity to nature, the fresh air and tranquil atmosphere are some of the things that make Mwamba stand out. Our rooms are neat and clean and our staff are committed to serve you. Our activities like bird ringing, occasional bird count and Mida Creek board walk will keep you involved, entertained and educated. Being a Christian organization, we are a big fan of love. Our warm community will be there to keep you involved when you need them and still allow you to enjoy your personal time and stay.

Suk-Ann Yee from California, United states had a nice time during her last visit. Here is what she had to say; Mwamba is located in  good environment with really captivating people. Being a Wildlife Biologist, I really enjoyed the activities at Mwamba, activities like bird ringing and watching a turtle hatch. The rooms are close to the ocean and the place is really comfortable. Suk-Ann is eagerly looking forward to her next visit and she highly recommended Mwamba to all visitors especially to those who wished to learn and solo travelers.

Victoria

Victoria from Italy also had something to say; Being her first visit, Victoria loved the simplicity of the place. She was able to work remotely and also witnessed bird ringing and beach cleaning. Close proximity to the ocean and nice nature setting was astonishing to her. She found people welcoming and loved the community environment. Victoria loved the nature conservation and protection agenda of A Rocha and was able to learn a lot during her stay. Victoria formed new unexpected friendships along the way with other visitors and A Rocha family.
